This neighbourhood is great if you value a familiar atmosphere located close to the city centre, neighbouring Campo de Ourique. Offering a wide variety of entertainment, shopping, great local and international schools such as Lycée Français Charles Lepierre, hospitals and clinics, it is a quiet and safe neighbourhood with families and young professionals.
Featuring many street-side groceries stores, it is also home to the oldest shopping centre in Lisbon, Amoreiras, a go-to spot for locals. Not too far away lies Mercado Biológico do Campo Pequeno which sells a variety of locally grown, organic and high quality products. Campolide also has a variety of restaurants with Portuguese, Japanese, Brazilian and many more traditional cuisines.
A great place for families and pet lovers due to its various parks including the Monsanto Park, as well as the ZOO, which is a short ride away. If you decide to make a trip outside of Lisbon you will see a glimpse of the Águas Livres Aqueduct, an iconic and grand work from the 18th Century.
Campolide is also interesting for the digital nomads community in Lisbon because of its great connections to the rest of the city and easy access to the highways. For those leaning on public transportation to get around, the Campolide and Sete Rios metro stations offer plenty of bus choices. Amazing Belém and Alcantara neighborhoods, where LX Factory sits, are only a 10 minute drive away. If you like to cycle, this area may be the right place for you to live in. If you have a car, you will also have a direct way to the highway.
